"The Gathering 2" - Benjamin Sun
Click here for Nvidia's page on their annual developer's meeting in England-"The Gathering 2" .Here's a quote:
"Fear is the path to the dark side... fear leads to anger... anger leads to hate... hate leads to suffering."

Direct3D is the path of the Jedi… Direct3D leads to satisfaction… satisfaction leads to joy… joy leads to fully-featured, highly-optimised and successful games.

For years now the Jedi Knights of NVIDIA's Developer Relations Group and Microsoft’s DirectX team have been working to reveal the innate beauty of Direct3D to all 3D games programmers. It’s time to step aside from fear, to rid yourselves of anger and to turn away from hate and suffering.

Gotta love that Jedi quote :)

nForce2 to have onboard dual monitor connectors - Benjamin Sun
While looking through the various Computex reports, I noticed something interesting. Apparently, the nForce2 (Crush18D) motherboards  will have onboard 2 monitor capabilities. Now if Nvidia can get it out for a decent price with the USB 2.0, AGP8x, Firewire, DDR333 and 400 support and Serial ATA, and in a timely manner they may have a real winner! Unfortunately they haven't announced it yet formally, so it's unconfirmed for now. Click here to see a picture of 2 monitor connectors on nForce2

Joe: Just to update. It also seems to have a GeForce4MX built in for the "D" version. I'm also hoping for Gigabit ethernet like Apple systems have, but I'm not holding my breath. :)

VisionTek GeForce4 Ti4400/4600 Review - Joe Glass
I have posted Ben's in-depth review of VisionTek's GeForce4 Ti4400 and Ti4600. There's comparison benchmarks between the two boards as well as screenshots using Full Scene Anti-Aliasing. I recommend a read on this one. :)
The GeForce4 Titanium is the card I'm looking at in this review. Specifically the Ti4400 and Ti4600 variants of the card. from Visiontek. NVIDIA's 3 cards in the GeForce4 Titanium series are the Ti4600 with 128MB of Ram and a core/memory speed of 300/325 (Note: I never double DDR memory bandwith) with a MSRP of $399, a Ti4400 with 128MB of Ram and a 275/275 core/memory clockspeed and a MSRP of $299 and two versions of the GeForce4 Ti4200, one with 64MB and a clockspeed of 250/250 and an MSRP of $179 and a 128MB version with a clockspeed of 250/222 and an MSRP of $199.

GTA3 problems on the Radeon 8500 - Benjamin Sun
I've just gotten GTA3 for the PC, and have been trying to play it on a 128MB AIW Radeon 8500. However, gameplay is extremely choppy with the latest official drivers available. Talonsoft has commented on the matter on their forums. here . Hopefully it'll be fixed in the upcoming 9071 drivers from ATI or by a patch from Rockstar.

NV30 To have 120 Million Transistors - Benjamin Sun
According to a Wired interview with Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA , NV30 will have approximately 120 million transistors. Amazing, since that's more than 2x the transistor count of the Geforce3 and 2x that of the Radeon 8500. Now what will the extra transistors allow the NV30 to do? Wait and see ;)
